Olga Chernenko, Assistant Director, CIVITAS Eastern Russia

Olga Chernenko is a coordinator for the CIVITAS Eastern Russia partnership, and the regional coordinator of the international "Civics Mosaics" program of Kamchatka. She is also a program coordinator at the Russian-American Center in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Ms. Chernenko's professional interests include the development of civic society and civic education, as well as project management and establishment of self-governance capabilities. She has participated in the 2004 World Congress on Civic Education in Budapest through the Civitas Exchange Progam and also attended the Annual Civics Teachers Conference in St. Louis (USA) that year.
